European Maritime Day in Wales
The Swansea University team had the pleasure to celebrate European Maritime Day in my country on Saturday the 13th of November. Together with Seaweed Surf Shack, PEBL, Car Y Mor, and the Seagrass project we organized a fantastic sunny event at Langland beach, Wales.
Participants learned about the Access2Sea project and Integrated Mult- Trophic Aquaculture, did a guided seaweed walk on the beach, and a workshop on seaweed-inspired movement.
The PEBL team prepared delicious seaweed sandwiches, and Flo offered her own secret recipe of hot chocolate spiced with seaweed and seaweeds flapjacks. Around 30 people registered for this free event.
